PREFORMANCE WISH LIST
What good is power when you can't get it to the pavement!
Chasis
-The first thing that I want to do is more bracing. Kenny Browns is the lightest and strongest for what I want ot do.
-I already have a Kenny Brown strut tower brace, but have yet to put it in.
-Weight reduction and distribution. The car is already 3250lbs and is quite fat and needs to go on a diet.
BODY
I really need to rap up the body modifications
-Finish the c-pillar scoop fitment and paint.
-Repair crack in air-dam.
-Put on my Roush rear bumper valences.
-Modify exhaust tips for Roush valences
-Repair problem with passenger side lambo door
ROTATIONAL MASS REDUCTION
Pretty much everything that spins in the drive-train that is really heavy must be swapped out for something lighter.
-Cast aluminum flywheel
-Carbon fiber driveshaft
-Underdrive pully kit
-Water pump
-High out-put alternater, 200amp
ENGINE
I had been looking to do an engine swap from the 2V 4.6 to an aftermarket 4V cobra motor. But I have since discovered that I can eventually make the power that I want with a 2V built motor. These things are making almost the same power as the 4V, I am talking within 20 to 50hp of 1000hp to the wheels.
That is one mean GT (Bullit edition with a 2001 cobra motor).
Here it is, the fastest stock long block six speed mustang cobra in the country and 5.0 Mustang Magazines "King of the Street" competition winner. Mike Palugi had a 9.65@143 in the quarter mile.
He has a HP performance stage II TT kit. His mods as of the video are as follows: Stock Block
