These next pics are of the cancer that has gotten into the car but only in the trunk, some floors. The rest of the car including the frame rails are rust free. This is my fist attempt at replacement of large panels.

Well its november in Texas so better finish my primer and such while the weather is good. Got the hole in the roof where the sun roof was finished as well as the fenders and such. Shell was sanded and shot with some good primer. Getting the shell primered was a big step. Kinda gives me a clearer view on the vision I have for this camaro.

Well I repaired the sun roof hole but was never satified with the possibilities of futre problems. I cut off the old roof skin and replaced the hole in the understructure with a donor piece.

I replaced the old roof skin with an aftermarket skin from NPD and the fit was really good. Welded the A and B pillars, rolled the side edges and welded the front and rear window areas. Used Dyna ten glass reinforced filler on B pillar to avoid fuure cracking and then skimmed all four pillars with regular bondo. The end result was fantastic!!! All due to my friend Lee who has the natural talent for these things.
