THE BLUE BARNIE
I bought this car in April with 28.8k original miles. It was always garaged, and never seen rain. If I tell you what I paid, you would cry. It's nearly flawless, top and bottom. Tight as your first love.
Now I have two Miatas, the other is a highly modified '97M (see cardomain "XKR-4"). I've decided to semi-retire the bling XKR from racing and concentrate on shows & fun with her.
Barnie's my primary race car now. I've added an SCCA approved Hard Dog roll bar, Bilstien Sport "Roadster Edition" with Nopro JDM shock dumpers, Jackson Racing hollow sways w/MS links, 15" 97M wheels with 205 Khumo MX, and an R-Speed strut brace.
A jacked "Icehawk" alignment completes the picture. The dumpers allowed me to get 1.9d of neg. camber up front under full caster!
Power wise, I've added a Racing Beat elbow intake, 8mm wires, a Magnaflow 2 3/4" catback, and a timing jump to 14d btdc.
