1998 Dodge Ram SS/T
I purchased my SS/T new on April 11, 1998. The only option it doesn't have is the trailer towing package. If I had ordered the truck, it wouldn't have had the leather. I'm glad it has it now. The only modifications I've made to the truck is a K&N air filter, Magnaflow catalytic converter, and a Belltech lowering kit.
1987 Dodge Shelby Charger GLHS
I purchased my GLHS at the Mopar Nationals on August 11, 1999. It had around 46,500 miles on it and was in excellent original condition. This car is #0592 of 1000 made. It started out life as a regular 1987 Shelby Charger. It was shipped to Carroll Shelby's Whittier, CA plant to be converted to a GLHS. Shelby added the turbo II intake, fuel rail, injectors, turbo, radiator/intercooler assembly, Koni adjustable struts and shocks, Shelby Centurion wheels, special graphics, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather wrapped shift knob, and numbered dash plaque.
1985 Dodge Ram D-100
I've always wanted a mid 80's Ram shortbed with a big block. I purchased this slant 6/4 speed because it was straight and had very little rust. This 440 and 727 automatic came out of a Pace Arrow motorhome. Eventually, I'd like to swap a 6 speed into the truck. I'll get around to building this truck once my wallet heals from the Shelby Charger build up.
Here are some of the plans:
1. 1970 Challenger style fiberglass hood
2. 1970 Challenger mirrors
3. Flip top gas cap
4. 8 3/4" Mopar rear end
5. 15" slot mags (if I can find some) or Weld Drag Star wheels
6. Mini-tubbing the rear end by widening rear wheel tubs
7. Lowering the truck 2" front/3" back
8. 1979 grill, headlights, and fenders.
