This is my 1998 Mustang. This was my second car immediately following a ragged out 1989 Mustang and replaced with a 2004 Mustang GT. Its a 3.8L V6 that came completely stock. I purchased it in 2002. I started working on it in 2004. I still own it and plan on doing more work in the future.

Here is what the car looked like when I bought it. It was an ugly dark green that almost looked black. It came with 16 inch rims that I was looking to immediately replace.

My first mod was 16 x 7 Helo chrome rims. I originally wanted to go with 17s or even 18s, but my stock tires were 16s so I decided to save some money and stick with 16s. After all the work I've done on the car this is still my favorite mod to date.

After getting the rims and saving for a few months I decided to get rid of the ugly green paint job. I decided on black because I loved the black and chrome combo. I was able to get a pretty decent paint job at a local place for right around $1000.

About a week or two after getting the paint job I had the itch to do even more with the Stang. My funds were not in the best shape at that point so I went with a stylish yet cheap fix: tinted windows. I went as dark as possible to match the car color. I also wanted them dark so people couldn't see through the windows all the electronics I had installed.
