This is my 2000 Ford Explorer V8 with the AWD. I got it as a Sophomore in high school and still have it as a Sophomore in College. It has really grown on me and i love it, now to the info... So far performance wise i have done a custom cold air intake. By custom i mean i bought 5 different parts from different places and put it together. AEM filter, with some 3.5 inch chrome pipes. Also installed my own "Ram Air" idea thing, gotta check it (With some hard work and sweat it worked out nicely) I also have a 2x2.25 in" in and single 2.5" out magnaflow exhaust, its swept-side(Thinking of going back to 2.25 in and out). I cut my back two cats off, and now it roars! I also put in a 16 inch high performance permacool electric fan. It came with a 190 degree stat. I noticed a nice gain in the low rpms. As far as stereo goes i have installed a Kenwood Headunit, in the front doors i have 5.25 inch JBL components(two massive 1.25 inch tweeters), in the back doors are pioneer 3-way 6x8s, and in the back i have 2 12inch audiobahn high excursion woofers powered by a kicker XS50 2-channel amp. This shit bumps hard on bass songs, and is really clear on guitar solo's. I love it, so please check it out and don't forget to rate, Enjoy! :)
Update (1/25/09): 2 inch suspension lift on(TT, and War Shackles)! Took about 4 hours, wouldn't have taken as long if i didnt have so much rust. This caused me to go buy 4 cans of semi-gloss black rustoleum spray paint and go to town. I covered the entire underneath of the car. Also, hit the fender-wells with a nice coat. The Differential really looks nice now, especially since you can see it now from a rear drivers standpoint. Also, hit the exhaust pipes with a black high temp paint (1200+F). It looks solid. I took some pictures today, and should have them online in a few days.
Update (1/31/09Painted calipers with a Silver Ceramic paint, FX4 off-road stickers on. Touched up some cracks on teh roof.
Here are some shots of the inside, audio and visual. As well as the engine.
