The hood & spoiler for this car were purchased from a junkyard in Pennsylvania, but the rest of the car is unchanged. We had a tornado added to the engine, but haven't yet decided if we're going to change the motor. It's currently a 2.8L. The dashboard is now red to match. We also added the Chevy mats inside, the stickers, etc. The stripes on the hood are actually painted that way, it is NOT decal. The only decals on the outside are the X-11 ones & the two on the sides of the scoop. We only paid $1,000 Canadian for this vehicle! It was grey (aren't most of them?), & there was very little paint left on the car. Let us know how you like it at redlion413@hotmail.com or louis333@sympatico.ca

Any Citation lovers out there have to check out a movie called "The Junkman". Near the end, an old lady in a Citation is involved in an accident & loses the back half of the car (except the floor), yet tries to drive over the guy who hit her! The car goes at least 15-20 feet forward without the back end!!!!! I saw this on Speed Channel last year & laughed myself off the couch. I am still trying to get a copy of this movie, as it is from the early 80's.

hey, i like the paint on the rims, i was thinking of doing something like that for my X-11. but, did you have to walnut shell blast or bead blast them to get them clean or did they come clean? very nice job on it though, i like the paint on the cowl.

Hello! I see you are also from Ontario! Quite a few Ontario owners on here! We should all get together sometime! I wanted to know if your X-11 was actually from Canada or imported from the states? I was told only 300 85' X-11's were made for the Canadian market, and I got one of them. Also does the Tornado make a difference in mpg? Anyways your X-11 looks great, I'd love to see a shot of the interior!

Did you ever think of making the dummy tail-light at the back work? I did that on my X-11 and looks great
