Motor Swap Progress/Part Pics
Update 10/18/07
Got the motor and mocked up, made the tranny adapter plate, cut the heater box, dimpled the firewall for head clearance and other things just don't remember everything. Anywho here are the pics and I'll update later.

Had to cut out the floor for the shifter
The sweet shifter knob I made out of a chainsaw piston, nut, and some JB weld
Mock up of the motor and tranny. Dont mind the ugly motor I still have to swap the intakes, valves covers, cam, and some other little parts.
UPDATE: 10/28/07
Got most of the motor work done. Got the cam, timing set, intake , and all the gaskets and little parts in. Still got a little more to do on it though. Here are the pics.

UPDATE: 12/14/07
Got the rearend put in with new leafs and a sway bar and working on the shock mount, got the fuel pump mounted, and got part of the radiator mounting done.

First fitment of the radiator. And theres not enough clearance unless i mount the fan as a pusher which I don't really like so Ill have to improvise.

UPDATE: 2/30/08
Well its been completed for a few weeks now jsut never got atound to uploading pics. Well here they are. Just got little stuff left like shifter boot, cover the heater box, and things like that. Anyway here are the pics.
Explorer rear end. 3 inches wider but I like it.
