This is my 1982 AMC Eagle SX/4 Sport that I bought in the summer of 2006. It has the AMC 258 4.2L engine and an automatic transmission. It has a 1-2 inch lift over stock and has Monroe Max Air shocks in the rear.
Since I purchased it I have replaced most of the suspension, the springs, the shocks, the brakes, the starter, alternator, valve cover, radiator, bumper, end caps, distributor, rockers, put in a Motorcraft 2100 carb, done the TFI upgrade, fixed all the rust and rot, fixed the spoiler, and painted it.
I am installing an AMC 4.0L engine commonly found in Jeep Cherokee XJs (originally designed for the Eagle and a fairly easy swap in the next month. I'll be including the fuel injection system on it as well. The engine puts out about 200HP stock, and I will be making a few modifications to it as well. After that I will be rebuilding the 998 transmission, replacing all the brake/e-brake lines, exhaust and the last few steering components I havent changed yet. Also getting some BF Goodrich All-Terrains for it as well.

The Eagle is my daily driver.

Here are some of the old pictures I have of the Eagle from when I first got it...you can see its quite a bit different than how it is now!
This is Winter of 06/07....

Heres a few shots I took back in 06 before I really did any work to the car...
These first two are with a rar AMC Eagle Kammback. I spoke to the owner after taking the pics, and there was a possibility of it being sold, but unfortunately I decided to use the Pocket PC to store the phone number instead of good old fashioned paper and the number got erased out of it before I ever had a chance to call.
In these shots with the Kammback you can see it was after I had the body work done, but before it was painted. You can see the silver in the middle of the spoiler where the fiberglass was fixed, and also that by this point it now had the proper blacked-out "Sport" bumper, but wrong coloured body panels.

This one here is with another Eagle wagon I saw one day.

Heres one of the first shots I ever took of the Eagle..This car sat in my garage most of the time for the first 6 months I owned it...every time I thought I fixed a problem and it was ready to drive, another issue sprang up and put it back in the garage. You can clearly see the mis-matched seats in this photo. The passengers seat is on the wrong mount and is out of a Ford truck I believe...it was much too high for anyone to sit in comfortably!
This second shot was taken at the same time and you can see the mismatched bumper and smashed up spoiler, as well as some body damage directly under the spoiler. According to the last owner the vehicle was in neutral and rolled into a pole, which is why there are pole shaped dents in it and why the bumper was replaced.
