Now, finally, my favorite page. Welcome to the performance upgrade page. This is the money pit. Stock, a Grand National pushes about 13.5 lbs of boost. In the quarter-mile, these cars were running 13.9 @ 98mph according to Car and Driver, making them the fastest US-produced car for the average consumer on the market for 1986 and 1987.
After the performance mods and the help of a local Grand National guru, the car is pulling much harder than stock. The car is currently pushing about 17lbs of boost on pump gas, 93 octane, on a mild day.
