Cadillac Seville SLS V8 4.6L 32V 275HP 295 ft/lbs torque

After Modifications: 330HP 320ft/lbs torque

I bought this car April 5th 2007 for $10,000 canadian with 222,000 km's on it. It was mainly highway driven, and parked indoors. I've had to spend about $1,000 on it so far to do a few basic things; spark plugs, rotation, wheel bearings, oil change, new fuel filter, fuel injection cleaning, strut mounts, drive belt, hood release cable, wheel bearings engine shampoo. I've put 12,000 km's on it since and nothing has gone wrong with it. This car is an ongoing project which I hope to have complete by next summer. I keep it cleaner than anything. So far I've put about 6g's worth of accesories and mods into it.

When I first got it:

The engine compartment was the dirtiest thing I have ever seen, there was a sticky-thick layer of grease/oil/dirt/dust over the entire engine. I don't think it had been touched since the car was first bought. The first thing I went about doing was getting an engine shampoo, and detailing it myself with polishes and ArmorAll anti-grease cleaner. I replaced the majority of all of the black electrical wire tubing with red tubing.

I removed the hoodliner, took about 8 minutes, it was oil soaked so it was heavy, the sound absorbing ports make for a sweet look, and you can hear the engine better. I also removed the engine light, cut& capped the wires, it wasn't bright, and had messy looking wires running from the engine compartment to the hood.

I keep the engine compartment immaculate. WD40,Nanopolish and cloth are my weapons of choice.

I put in the red engine tubing myself, it costed me $21.36 canadian and took about 60 minutes to put install. I had to cut away all the old black engine tubing, and cut+fit and fasten the red tubing with ties.

I installed this custom Apexi Cold air intake myself, it costed me about $40 Canadian, and took about 30 minuts to install. It adds about 15 horsepower, and gives the engine an agressive growling sound when you accelerate, theres definately some power that wasn't there before.

GM performance parts Strut Tower brace; slight cut down on body roll increasing highway handling. Stainless steel CAI heat shield.

I put the chrome trim on the engine cover and my initials JBP. This set me back $5 and took 5 minutes.

Debadged the back myself, and I had my taillights smoked at ultracar for: $189 Canadian
