Now under the hood a few things have been changed and or upgraded.
splattered's 1994 Ford Thunderbird This is the before I did anything to the car aside from the large battery.

Now this is today as things are after I made my intake tube, changed the belt and alternator, and added the tower brace.

The cold air intake elbow. Its good for grabbing real cold air outside the bay. I replaced the silencer elbow with a plumbing elbow from home depot.

The tube points out the front.

I also recently rebuild my passenger window motor heres what was inside.

The mafs sensor has been changed to a pro-m 70mm and a k+n cone filter added. This is how it will be until I swap engines. The plan is to build a insulated box around the cone case(materials are on hand). Underhood temps in AZ are really hot. Right now its a semi hot air intake as the opening in the cone case just sits on top of the opening for the cold air elbow. Box can't be built until after the swap, different mafs and tube will be used. So eventually it will be a real high flow cold air intake box.

I cut off mounting tabs meant for a mustang on the cone case, and I cut off the 3 studs holding on the cold air elbow so the 2 meet and sit as flush as possible.

Thanks for the advice on the rust. I plan on doing that until I can get mine fixed. I did manage to polish the headlights and LOVE the results. They almost look clear again (almost). I keep coming back to your page for inspiration (your car is beautiful! and the same color as mine). Again thanks!

Wow! Beautiful bird (Mine's the same color but is losing a lot of paint now. I learned a lot about what can be done to my bird. Thanks
