This is my daily driven 1994 Thunderbird LX with a 4.6 V8
I bought it because I had my 1997 Grand Marquis totaled and got 4500 for it. I thought about buying a T-bird for a long time and here was my chance. I paid 2900 for the car and it had been taken care of and had lots of work done on it already. When I bought it, the previous owners garage kept it all the time and they also did the spark plugs/wires with Magnacore XTS 8.5mm wires
The car also came with new water pump and tires. This was just beginning starting in December of '06, I've spent every free moment working on this car. I started with small stuff, like a good exterior detailing, and sanding the headlight housings.
I ditched the older smaller battery.
I swapped batteries with my wrecked GM since I had just bought it was 1 month old and huge. I chopped off the mufflers and bolted on downturns from AUTOZONE for like $10, it sounds pretty good for $10. After over a year I tired of the sound and think it sounds pretty lame LOL I should have just left the stock mufflers in place. It was easy to install the sway bar though with the mufflers gone.
My Tru-cool Max tranny cooler rated at 40k keeps things cool while by passing the radiator.
I wrapped it in wire for a little protection
I replaced the cracked corner lenses with clear corners and I like the look.
