1971 VG Regal Hardtop
Thanks for checking out my baby, was passed down from my grandfather who has had the car since the day it was released. He actually drove it out of the 'Ringwood Chrysler' showroom back in 71'.
The Val is in mint condition considering the car is over 30 years old, however alot of work is needed and so, the restoration process begins.

It's a hot mustard colour with a black vinyl roof that was replaced just a couple years ago. There are scratches on the paintwork, but it's as straight as they get. A paintjob will come, just need to save a couple dollars for that one! :)

Its driving (just) with a stock Hemi 245 under the bonnet consisting of a single barrel carby and stock exhaust. But as the picture shows, it is in need of some loving if you know what i mean! hahaha :)

Just starting with the engine, really want to get it up and running nicely. Needs a good clean up and neaten up first, then to start modding it. possibly putting on a 2 barrel 350 holley carby, pacemaker extractors, cams, exhaust etc.
(more pictures of engine bay, boot, interior etc to be posted)
There will be more to come so please keep posted for the restoration process, and feel free to leave feedback and pass on your thoughts & ideas for the valiant!
**UPDATED**
Been awhile since i've last updated the page, so i've listed below what has been upgraded, and the new parts that have been put in. Exhaust is yet to be fitted, but is booked for a couple weeks. Any ideas of what would be the best set up to go for?
- New rims and wheels (Charger W35)
- Dual Pacemaker Extractors
- 350 Holley
- New alternator, starter motor
- Steering Column
- Worked Heads
- Sports Fan
- Windage Tray
- Alot of Chrome in the engine bay! :D

Now we've opened the doors, and starting some work that is needed on the interior. New carpet, central locking, transmission shifter and possibly the roof-lining. Paintjob is still too come, as well as a jumping audio system which will be late next year.
More pics to be soon put up focusing on the interior work and the exhaust. Keep posted guys, and cheers for checking out the page.
