Some recent shots of the 02 Auto emerging from storage and hitting the open road with the Tii while my brother visited Australia for the first time

This is my new project car. It is a '75 2002 Automatic that I picked up in Brisbane, Australia. The car is a low milegae (65K) example that has seen very little abuse over the 30+ years. It has survived well. The car history is documented. Delivered to a hotel in London intially, it had the first oil change in Nice, France shortly after that at 500 miles. The next service shows it on schedule in Tasmania, Australia and subseqeuntly after that off to Melbourne where it spend most of the time until just recently in Queensland. My plans are to keep it stock and original with just a few performance and comfort modifications. I define that as a new Weber carb, lower performance springs, stainless steel brake lines, polyurethane bushings, steering wheel, badge bar & lights wih Recaro seats.

I was somewhat relectant about an automatic but after converting to a new weber, the car is much improved and a treat to drive with loads of power across the rev range. The Recaro seats and Moto Lita steering wheel make a huge difference in the driving experience.

You obviously have very good taste in cars! I think if I owned two of these at the same time, I would have to file for bankrupcy. They are too much fun and way to easy to get carried away with! Enjoy your new purchase.
