UPDATES

April 21st, 2006
I'm no longer the owner of this car. Traded it in for an 87 Monte Carlo SS.

Well i'm waiting for the battery tray and speedo I ordered to come in. I'll have pics of both installations.

I got all my guages light up purdy now. Too bad my digicam doesnt pick up the glow of the guages. I've raninto a new problem, my shifter doesnt want to shift past reverse, I have to get in there and see whats going on. Hopefully I'll get some pics up of that. I've put off the speakers for a while. Coming up is the water pump installation, and tires.

The time has come to kick this project into gear. I did the valve cover gaskets. Got the battery charged, and wired in my Kenwood CD player. Next up is new 6x9's in the back and a plate so I can fit two 4.5's in the front.

I've had the car for a little while now. So far i've just steamed the interior and repainted the front bumper. I ordered a set of Fel-Pro gaskets to tend to the little leaks she has. Before I put the gaksets in the top end i'm going to drop a new cam, lifters, rods and rockers in to wake the little 301 up. Pictures as soon as the work begins.

R.I.P Seabiscuit. This page used to hold the pix and accounts of my 97 Mustang V6...well after an accident no longer. This page is now for my upcoming 1979 Pontiac Trans Am.

------------------------------

The car is equipped with a 301 v8 and a 4bbl carb, TH-350 Transmission and an 8.5" posi rear. Im not sure of the ratio, I'll have to find that out wont I?

I understand the car was originally painted white...explaining the red interior and red Snowflakes.

I would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions on this, vote and leave comments in the guestbook! Let me know what you think.

Thanks for looking!

Yo! Crispy! Can't wait to see your T/A when it's finished, i know it's going to kick some major butt. The camera i have, that i took those last few pictures is a vivitar SLR. It's kinda old (Still uses actual film, but it's better then any digital camera i've ever used), but it's amazing. Good to see another FBN member! Keep on keepin' on!

Very nice looking car! If I was you, though, I'd ditch the 301 pontiac and toss a 400 or 455 pontiac in there. Mine has a 403 olds and its real easy to squeal the tires...
