This is my 1971 Nova project . I painted it February 2008 in a 2006 Nissan 350Z blue pearl metallic paint with white stripes.I sprayed 3 coats of blue and four coats of clear in the warehouse where I work (good to have a cool boss, lol) on a three day weekend I had. First car in about 25 years that I've sprayed,yep my test dummy. It has a 350 small block that I recently dropped inand added a Thumper camshaft, roller rockers, chrome 100 amp alternator,pulleys,Edelbrock Air Gap manifold, Holley Street Avenger carb, 10 mm wires, a 350 turbo transmission, dual exhaust, disc brakes up front . I also replaced all the bulbs in the dash with L.E.D. bulbs (each bulb has 9 L.E.D.'s), Autometer cobalt guages and a skull shifter knob.
On my ride I have 15" Rally wheels with center caps and trim rings. I picked up, all new chrome emblems, trim, handles, etc. Still have not color sanded since I'm debating about the sunroof.
