My Mom couldn't stand to have a crashed car on her driveway because it made our house and neighbourhood look ugly. It also was cluttering her driveway. So she payed to get it scrapped (April 4, 2008). After buying the Roadmaster I had only $282 left. It would cost $190 for towing and $100 a month for outdoor storage. While paying for storage, I would have to save $10000 to fix the Trofeo. I am technically still in high school because I am in a co-op program. I am also going to college at the same time. In other words I have no income, making it impossible for me to save my TROFEO. The day before I worked all day and all night to remove whatever I could.
what I salvaged:
-digital dash unit with bezel and buttons
-entire shifter and assembly
-a/c and stereo
-all ext. and int. badging
-TROFEO seat stitching
-spring loaded trunk key slot cover
-lighted mirror visor
-tape player with equilizer
The following are pictures of the Trofeo the day before and the day of the towing.
