This is MY BABY I've wanted a rabbit since I was in like the 7th grade, she's not quite the looker still, but he sure runs strong witha NEW SOHC 1.6L 8V Heron engine (Euro Spec Baby), 5 spd transmission. Other than that there is nothing special to it. soon I hope to just restore this one to make it easier on the eyes, then I'll buy another one to race.

Sweeet car! Keep the mods subtle, it's OE look is it's pride! See if you can find a euro GTI engine, 1.6L 'Heron' engine. It was a 1.6L that made 115 hp, same as the newer 2.0L ABA engine, but with way more retro-coolness. Really, you only need the head. You can put high compression pistons into your current 1.6L and cap it with a Heron head. I have a set of those BBS wheels you're looking for. ;)
