So far since i bought the car a year ago i've removed and replaced all the suspension bushings with energy suspensions poly, just about everything else rubber is replaced too.
The car came with the aftermarket intake so I just bought a holley 08007 for it. I have some aftermarket frame rails and subframe connectors on the way I'll post some pictures of them installed soon

The engine that came w/ the car is a 2.8 liter n42 block and head from the early 280z, I guess the previous owner didn't like the fuel injection. One of the next things i plan on fixing, the new holley works fine for now. Its all pretty stock right now, but that will change.

some pics of my frame rails from Bad Dog Parts they're made of thicker gage steel and weld over the original

This is one of the rear pieces originally 240z didn't have much support in the rear it might be a little heavier in the end, but much more rigid.

What up Chris! I'm pretty much just gettin' the stang on the road as well. Had to replace a fried computer and a leaky fuel line, now just needs a set of 4.10's. Keep updating the site, I wanna see what you do with this Z.

Added U 2 my friends. I want to see what exactly your gonna do with this 240. I had the single Holley on a Clifford intake on my 260 years ago, and the car just seemed like it was starving for both air and fuel. It worked for daily driving, but not much else. Good Luck with your project, and check out/rate my Z when you get time.
