Hey, this is my 84 camaro Berlinetta, that i baught for 300$!!! Now of course, its not running, its my project car. I hope to make it a pretty sweet ride when i am done, and something that will hopefully leave you hanging on to your seat when i punch the gas. THe bumpers and side skirt will be changed to an 85 z28 style. Anyway just check the pics and check back often to see the updates

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet CamaroHere it is, i had parked it out back untill the snow would melt so i could start on it. Baught it in early december, and braught it up on June 8th.

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro OF course it looks ok on the outside, but the surprises are comming

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Rims are from an earlier monte carlo, but i plan on putting 17" amreican racing trackstar rims.

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Ok after a day of fighting with rusty bolts and rolling around in wet carpet, the interior was out and the damage of years of being parked out in a field were showing, the floors were in bad shapem but not as bad as what they could have been. I gues its gone take a bit of work to get it to pass inspection LOL!!

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro OK first came the cutting. and getting all that rust out.

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Than i welded in a piece of sheet metal, used the be the hood of a lawn tractor
JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Here is another piece for the front

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet CamaroHere it is welded in , the front wasn't that bad, but the back next to the seat, and under the fender, man is it ever bad, wonder what kind of metal i am gone use, its gona need some crazy bends, and lots of patience, and od course a thew beers!!
JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Here is the bumper thats going on, form an 85 z28, i find it looks much better than the other one, looks much sharper and more aggresive

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro
JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet CamaroHere i had to take of the fender, their was a small dent in it and it was warped an bit, the bumper wouldn't mount in right, fits just fine now, it ain't perfect but its nothing a bit of bondo can't fix:)

(June 15) ok, time for an update, i worked most of the day yesterday getting the rear wheel well partched up, dang does it ever take a while to shape that metal to fit in their, o well its all part of the project.

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Here it is, it ain't done yet, i forgot to take pictures before i cut the the wheel well up, but let me assure you it was bad!!!

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro It doesn't look perfect but i ain't done yet, after i grind down the welds, it won't be as bad.

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro THis here will be a bit of a challenge, getting the metal cut and bent right won't be easy, but ill eventually get it done :)

JLC89's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Here is the bad spot i told you about earlier, It the worst spot of all and filled with curves and bends, i don't think i am going to do it exactly the same as the factory, il just try to hack it, you can't even see this spot after the carpet is in, and cant even touch it since their is a small panal that covers everything.

11/11/07 Ok guys get ready for a new update, i just put a sbc 305 4-barrel in her she is soon to run. Also got some cragar ss's for now only 14" but i didn't pay for them, got em on a trade for a body job.

01/18/08 ITS ALIVE ITS ALIVE check it out CLICK DOWN HERE
here it is, first fire of my Lg4 305, if you are french you will notice i say 350 but its not really 350, i just want people that think it is lol MORE PICS COMING SOON!!!

Ok here is the deal with the engine, its an Lg4 305 from an 81 camaro z28, its pretty much stock eeccept its got, chrome valve covers, an accel super coil, Edelbrock intake (not on at the time but will be soon). I baught a new edelbock air chrome air filter. Next to come is a cam kit with timing chain and gears with new lifters, maybe new pushrods too, i am thinking of going with comp xtreme energy 262 Any idea's? I would also like to get some edelbrock shorty's headers. Also in line i s a shit kit for the tranny, its a th350 and its leaking oil from the oil pan, shif kit comes with the gasket so problem solved!!
Also i don't know what to do for exhaust, i want a y pipe and like to go 3" all the way back to a nice flowmaster super 40 that goes to 2 pipes (No cat for me hehe, well it outside will be their but no guts YHAAA!!!) I really need exhaust system on that video, we didn't know but no long after, someone called the cops, apperently people don't like hearing the sound of a 305 running with only manifoils at 1 AM lol!
