As a lover of British cars for more than 30 years, I have always been interested and had a desire to own an MGA. Last summer this 1957 became available from a collector in Lancaster, PA. He was a mechanic and had spent many hours on restoring the engine and other mechanicals. Since my purchase and bringing it home to Meadville, PA, I have had the Master Cylinder rebuilt, repairs fuel and brake lines, numerous carburetor adjustments, new radiator, new tires, along with other smaller maintenance items. Next will be the painting of this vehicle again in British Racing Green, which it currently sports, along with a tan leatherette interior The car runs strong and is great fun to drive. It boasts the 1500 cc paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The joy of this car is in starting it, which requires one hand on the choke cable, and one hand on the starter cable - which pulled together brings the car to life.
