Hi im brett i have a 1983 toyota celica st, its rwd has a solid rear axle and a 22re.
i rebuilt the motor myself since i wound up shredding the #4 rod bearing to bits found the bottom half of the bearing set in the bottom of the pan bent in half. also had a deep gash in the #2 cylinder wall that you could stand a quarter straight up in.
its bored .040mm over it has a brand new head new exhaust valves, camshaft, reground crankshaft, resized and replaced connecting rods, bigger pistons (obviously).
