What Ive done so far:

New Interior: Seat Covers, foams, had the seat frames sand blasted and coated black.  New carpet and deluxe door pannels.  I took the entire interior of the car apart, and sanded down to bare metal, then Por-15'd it all then I lined the entire interior, part of the trunk, and roof with D-amplifier (dynamat type sound/heat shield).  It works great.   New grant steering wheel and I got some kitty hair fiberglass body filler and re-fabricated my stock, broken, radio bezel for the CD player to fit..  I have the plastic rear package tray with 6x9 pods but no speakers just yet.  The CD player is pretty much my dash clock until I get speakers..

Paint And Body:  Youve probably already seen the pics of that..  New chrome 68 side mirrors.  I never liked the sport mirrors but I like the older chrome ones so thats what I went with.  New chrome trim around the trunk and lights and the new rear valance with exhaust cutouts.  I still want a front spoiler though..  It will come in time.  I had the holes for the vinyl top filled and sold the trim pieces too.  The hood is a Cougar Eliminator Style fiberglass hood and I love it!!

Engine:   I finally broke down and got a 4bbl Edelbrock performer intake and a Holly 670 Street Avenger to top off the motor..  The old 2bbl got clogged and needed a rebuild so I just went new..  It runs awsome now.  Matched with the performer plus cam and some hooker headers all coming out of the 2 2.5 inch flowmaster 40's with an H-pipe.   I still need some stainless tips though to make it look right..

Electrical:   I installed an all new Ron Francis wiring kit, so everything is new and changed all of the bulbs.  I had thought about going with the LED tail light kit, but after I cleaned up the housings and painted them aluminum on the inside and then got new lenses they are really bright and look great.   Still need to change the white bulbs in the front blinkers out for some orange ones though..

Steering/Suspension:  New KYB shocks all around and Grab-a-track mid eye leaf out back.  I will be cutting the front springs soon and adding the shelby UCA drop to give it a meaner stance and will probably just replace everything in the front end with a new kit from mustangs unlimited..

All in all its been fun..  A pain in the butt at times, and forever a money pit, but fun.  And the best part is driving the family around..

In reply to Nessababys: Sorry you feel that way. Maybe your daddy didn't love you enough as a child, I see no other reason someone would be such an ass. I hope you are proud of yourself.
