that last comment was a friend of mine asking about my truck.
i was told that you can get a special set of headers for the truck that clear the engines shift linkage. that would be able to let you shift down to 1st and 2nd
i have a column shift on it as well, but i also have a hurst floor shifter.
how long did it take you to put yours in?
and is there a kit where i can eliminate the shifter without leaving the colum uncovered?

hey man im thinkin on investing in a gmc s15 with a 305 in it
it has column shift but cause of the 305's linkage it cant go to 1st and 2nd because it doesnt clear the stock headers, what would you recomend?
