This is my 77 monza spyder. I bought the car may 7 2007 for $1100. The car barely ran, it kept backfiring through the carb, drove it home only 4 blocks away. I started checking the motor and found out that one lobe on the camshaft was gone and took the lifter with it, replaced the camshaft with a Edelbrock performer. The car runs great, lots of power for a car this size. This winter I plan to pull the motor and do some work to it.
Factory posi, 3.55 gears
The front nose says V6 on it, doesn't really help much when the air cleaner sticks out of the hood.
Motor is a 350 bored out, with a Edelbrock performer cam, high rise intake, 1 inch spacer and a edelbrock 750 carb.
The car has a four speed tranny, it's pretty fast even though I don't have traction in first gear, still pulls hard though. It spins tires when I shift into 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear.
