My Classic Westy Michelle
This machine is no race car but if you are at that great friday night party and you meet someone who just wants to go chat somewhere quiet but you are both to trashed to drive and all the rooms upstairs are taken, the bus is parked just around the corner. You would be surprised how excited and interested someone is around 11pm when you say "hey, wanna check out my 1970's VW camper". Lets just say that most of my latenight walks to my bus were one way trips. Besides being equipped with a comfortable bed that sleeps 2 downstairs there is a bed for two in the pop-top. Michelle also has 2 functioning gas burners for cooking gourmet meals on the road, a sink and water holding tank for washin up, a fridge for the beer and an extra battery harness up for night time tunes on the bumpin Kenwood stereo. There are two custom fit 8" tweets right above the bed and two up front at the kick panel. Michelle is northwest avacado green, she starts shakin at about 45 mph and nuts and bolts start falling out of the engine at about 60 mph, I have traveled with 11 people on board, I have had 6 people sleep in it at once and I have owned the car for 5 years, lived in it 3 times in 2 states and I have never got tabs or insurance, and the only tickets have been for parking overnight in restricted areas. I love my ride, she has saved the day many a time. It just go's to show that sometimes a race car with NOS' or a truck that needs a ladder to reach the door handle just are not gonna cut it when a few ladies want to get down or you get evicted and need a new place to live. This VW Westy is Bad to the Bone.
