Offroad Mods

• All J Frankenlift CRD spring lift. Old Man Emu shocks/struts and Old Man Emu springs:
  • --w/ front 500 lb. CRD spring

  Below you can see the Frankenlift components, Al's upper A-Arms and the difference between the stock front strut and the Frankenlift front strut.

  

• 4.10 gears and Detroit Tru-Trac's front and rear.
  • I choose the DTT rear as the Jeep has traction control (it automatically brakes only the slipping wheel) and the ARB was too expensive for now (required air lines and compressor or air tank to be installed). I dislike the onroad manners of automatic lockers like the Detroit Locker or PowerTrax, so they were out of the running.
• Rocklizard super sliders

• Jeepin by Al's Upper A-arms, gen 4.5's

• Skid Row Tranny/Engine skid, Skid Row transfercase skid
• Mopar front suspension skid, Mopar gas tank skid
• Mopar front tow hooks
• Rear hitch shackle
• Mopar Renegade light bar (made by Hella). Takes standard headlight bulbs, type 9006 HB4
• JKS Quicker Disconnects
• Custom limiting strap on driver's side.

  

  • This let's me use more lift (also lets me disconnect the front swaybar) without biting the driver's side cv boot at full droop.
• Trimmed front bumper
  • Removed bumper air dam for clearance. Kept part of the inner air dam, but trimmed it down, to maintain some of the cooling functionality.
• Cragar Soft 8 wheels

  

• Goodyear 32 inch MTR's. 235/85/16
• Jeepin By Al 4 inch rear coils

  

• Bilstein 4 inch lifted rear shocks

  

• Rear boomerang tri-link drop link extention

Performance and other Mods

• Green Diesel Engineering Echo-Performance tune +40 ft pounds + 30 HP + 3 MPG.
  • Currently at: 28 MPG highway, 190+ HP and 335+ foot pounds of torque.
• S E G R (when offroad)
• Suncoast torque converter , new style 545RFE transmission pump
• Transgo shift kit.
• Extra auxillary transmission cooler. Follow link for install instructions and pics.
• Hi flow muffler that I paid too much for, should have straight piped it.
• Custom steel CAC intake tubes

• EBC Greenstuff 7000 series pads (front)
• EBC Greenstuff 6000 pads (rear)
• Custom three gauge dash pod with basic Autometer turbo, transmission temp, EGT gauges

• Fumoto oil plug with CRD adapter
• Amsoil oil filter, running Shell Rotella-T 5-40w
• Fuel filter bleeder valve
• Cummins CP-3 lift pump installed in fuel tank.

• Scanguage II ODBII scanner, complete with random CRD TCM reboot misfeature.

    • This is an industrial engine block used in commercial, auto, marine, and agricultural use.
