This is my 1989 FSM Niki, I've owned it from new and have never had a problem with it - it's covered over 128,000 kilometres since new and is still running all it's original engine and gearbox. I generally use it for driving to and from work in the city which is about 30 K's a day, my colleagues generally drive more upmarket cars so mine tends to stand out in the carpark - because of it's size I share my parking bay with several motorbikes and scooters - there's plenty of room! I have taken the Niki on longer trips to the south coast about 600 kilometres away but it gets a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so and the hills are real killers...other travellers are also not happy about being behind a tiny 650cc car that is flat out at 110 km/h. I really enjoy driving the Niki, it's like a sreet legal go-kart, the handling is very direct and once you get to know the limits of the car wet weather can be great fun! Over the time I have had the car i have managed to collect a lot of spare parts, mostly mechanical although I was once given a Niki that had been rolled so I stripped all the body parts and interior and have that as well - just in case. unfortunately the Niki's that come on the market in Perth are being bought up and cannabalised by Fiat 500 owners who want the larger CC engines and four speed gearboxes. I doubt that I will ever sell my Niki it is a great car to work on and the fact that there are so few of them still on the road (where have they all gone?) means that you'll get a lot of positive interest when you park it anywhere.

hello there polskifiat6019, your car looks well looked after.i bourt a new niki in 90 but i think it was made in 1989 thow. i traded it in on a 1981 gemini when it was two or 3 years old. i regreted selling it thow. over that last 4 or 5 years i have bourt 5 niki's but cut one up as it was past its used by date so only have 4 now. 2 are very good and 2 not so good. the 2 not so good one's would make a good car between them. i don't drive them now and they are just put away untill they are sold or till they are old and then put club reg on them only about $90 per year so that is beter than $500 a year. i have only my ute on the road now. let me know what you think of my pages on here dude fiat126@live.com.au thanks craig
