This is my 65 300 chevelle. It was a wreck when i first got it. Everything was a ugly purple when i first brought it home. It had a blown rear end and a detonated motor, and i traded my 67 imapla i had for this car the way it sits with the purple. It took my son and i 5 years to get where it is now. It was a fun path to get where it is.
Motor:
355 small block chevy
14.5:1 compression ratio
4.56 gears
Gear driven
Holly 750 carb
Victor JR. Intake
Thumpy cam from COMPcams
roughly 500 hp on motor.
No nitrous.
Before we painted the car white, it had over 12 diffrent layers of paint on the car. One nasty project to do.
Most of the interior was kept original, bucket seats to hold your ass in. But i hope you enjoy this page. This car was a father and son bond time, and the car is promised to my 17 year old son. Thanks, Jim and Jeff.
The ugly ass purple paint when we first brought the car home.
Starting to paint after taking off the 12 different colors on the car.
Repainting the car. Offset Gray
