My 1992 Dodge Dakota, my first real truck and biggest project, sold last summer to buy "Big Red", my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500.

It's finally done! I got it painted and all exterior mods finished. There is now a Chrome front bumper and no valance with 2 Baja lights mounted on the bumper and 2 on the roll bar. The LT31x10.50 15 BFG Tires are on with no rub, and yes the suspension is stock! No lift needed and they fit fine. Has a 4" thick Channel Iron rear bumper, roll bar from a ranger, Custom Orange R/T stripes and trim. The V6 is giving me plenty of power to take her off road.
Newest mod is a Flowmaster 40 series single in - single out muffler hooked up to the stock tailpipe. Makes the little V6 sound like a Hemi. For any true mopar lover out there, I would seriously suggest this muffler to anyone! It is well worth the $80 and busted knuckles. You need the 3" Inlet muffler, not the 2.5" like the flowmaster book calls for. If you are looking to rehook the stock tailpipe up you need a 3" OD to 2.5" ID adapter, about $12 at the local auto parts store. I opted for the single out because I could not afford to have dual pipes bent up. The sound is still amazing, you dont need duals to make this truck rumble!
In November I had the main connecting rod in the transmission come to peices on me. So about three or four weeks and $2200 later and BRAND NEW Automatic Transmission is installed, shifts like a dream. But ones things for sure, If I ever buy another kota it will be stick shift.

I recently sold my 1990 Jeep Cherokee to buy something I always wanted. A Dodge Dakota. I searched for awhile to find one that I could afford, but finally I did, it's a 1992 Dodge Dakota Ext. Cab Sport 4x4. It is equipped with the 239 cubic inch (3.9L) Magnum V6 and it has 136,000 miles on it. The 4x4 works excellent and I have some big plans for it as it, at the current time, other than a cherry bomb exhaust, it is bone stock.
Ya, we're supposed to use that trail to WALK up to the school, Try tellin the rednecks that haha
