This is my 2004 Evolution VIII which is fully built by IA Performance in Tucson, AZ. IA Performance is owned and operated by Stephen Clark who drives a Subaru WRX Wagon. The project started back in July of 2006 when I emplored IA Performance to do the entire buildup. I was at first kind of leary since I had not heard much about IA Performance, but Stephen really wanted my business. We spoke at great lengths and I began to get comfortable enough to allow IA Performance to do this project. We had begun the project with the 2.3L Stroker Shortblock by Buschur Racing, Shepard Racing Transmission Upgrade and Stage 2 Transfer Case. But after a while of thinking about it, I decided to do the Buschur Racing Stage 3 Race Head, Fullrace GT stage 3 GT35r turbo kit with FMIC, 1000cc Injectors by PTE, Buschur Racing Duel Modified Fuel Pumps, HKS DLI 2 Ignition Amplifier and add to my AEM EMS the UEGO wideband controller. I have spent approximately $24,000 in this project alone and approximately $14800 before this for a total of $38800. I also have aquired sponsorships by IA Performance, Mothers Polishes and Waxes (there's no shine like mother shine), Falken Tires, Fullrace Turbo Systems, Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Accents, Streetconcepts and of course me. I will continue to update this page as I continue this build into the ultimate Corvette Killer. Stay tuned and please sign my guest book. Thank you for taking the time to look at my most expensive project to date.
