This page is all about drivetrain upgrades and modifications. When I first got the car, I immediately tore the engine down to the block. I replaced the timing belt and all the gears, had the heads redone, and did a DIY port and polish (gasket-match) on the heads and 1991 lower and upper intake manifolds. The rest of the engine is from a 1996 except for the cams, which are set at 0 on the intake side and -13 on the exhaust side. I also polished the upper intake manifold and front cam carrier cover. Transmission was also pulled and resealed, as well as putting in a new Perfection clutch set and new clutch slave cylinder. The front motor mount and oil pan gasket were also replaced.

Other noteables: Magnecor KV85 8.5mm spark plug wires (Taylor also makes 8 and 8.2mm wires for the 91-95 DOHC), AC Delco R42LTSM spark plugs, relocated coil packs. Chip w/ EGR and AIR delete, FFP underdrive crank pulley and billet poly dogbone.
