My "Macho"
It's still in the "build" stage, so be patient and I'll get it fully set up. ( Once I've set aside the budget for it!)
Here he is "Outlaw".
As you can see it really needs some work.
I'm actually kinda shy to show ya'all tha inside right now coz its in such bad shape.
I need a new dashboard, guages, carpet, basically everything so if you guys know where I can find stuff for my project, holla at me!
May 16 - 2008
Well after 6 freakin months I finally got my car back!(I put it in the shop last freakin November!)
To make a long story short, DO NOT , I repeat DO NOT go to the shop that I went to.
After paying 45k pesos I am VERY FREAKIN disapionted in the craptastic job that they did on OutLaw.It's bad business conduct like this that makes us Filipinos look bad.Thankfully I was able to find some shops and mechanics with good reputations and history.(Sayang it wasn't before dealing with these fools)Hit me up for a list if you're ever in my town.
The paint is starting to chip already, they completely ignored the engine compartment, undercarriage and inside the cab. There is overspray on my chrome and magz, theres undercoating on the underside of my hood,
my wiring was completely thrashed,my engine was not cared for.
Needless to say I'm suing the bejesus out of them and come to find out that they actually had pending cases against them from pprevious customers.
In any case, I'll show the updated pics only bcoz my main man Kuya Jovy came to the rescue and breathed life back into my whip.
Notice that my new wraparound bumper is missing? Why?Bcoz they were insisting that I pay the remaining balance and I did not think that they deserved that since it has been 5 months and they did such a sh!t job.Basically they were holding the bumper hostage so I said screw that bumper I'll just get a freakin fiberglass bumper made.
Notice the hood clips?I HAD to add those. Why?Bcoz after they finshed the hood does not align properly and does not close properly so the hood clips keep the hood from flying up from the airflow!
Here is a pic of my magz.
13inch, deep dish race magz, buffed to chrome.
There was overspray on them which really pissed me off considering they were a month old when I took the car to the shop.Luckily my homie Paul was able to bring them back.
Here is a pic of the side view.
It happens to be a good angle where you can't the waves in the body work.
Pic of my roll barz
Here is my resurrected engine.
Maraming Salamat Kuya Jovy!
When I brought the car to shop it might've looked like crap but it ran like a champ. It sat for 5 months with no starting or running so it went to hell.Kuya Jovy brought it back and overhauled it,added racing wildcams for that musclecar effect, painted it up and even fixed the engine mounts and cleaned and painted the engine compartment at no extra charge! What a guy! That's the example of how a REAL Filipino is homie!
I'll be purchasing some Weber carbz from the homie.
Hopefully I can get my hands on them this weekend bcoz that stock carb is not providing the proper fuel/air ratio to the power plant.
Anyway thats all for now, stay tuned for updates.
Stay free and keep hustlin!
