This is my 1996 Honda Civic EX. I bought it from a man in Philadelphia, PA in February of 2006. I REALLY REALLY hate to sell this car, but it has to go. I'm going out of state to college and neither I or my parents have the room to store the car and I need the money to pay for my dorm and first semester of college. I would take the car with me, but they don't allow freshmen to have cars, and I honestly don't think I will need it anyway since everything is close by and easily within walking distance.

The Specs.

The body and Interior of this car has 167,000 miles on it, and trust me, it doesn't look it. The body and Interior are in great shape, the paint is glossy and there are a few dings and scratches on the car, especially around the bumper areas. These were all there when I bought the car, just don't have the money or time to mess around to fixing them.

The Engine in this car was from JDM, it's a 1.6L SOHC and it came with 48,000 miles. It now has 67,000 miles total on the engine...and it can go for another 100,000 or 2 if maintained.

I have also replaced the Spark Plugs and Wires, Distributor and Cap, Fuel Filter and O2 Sensor to get it to pass inspection, which the car is good til April of 2008 on Inspection, getting it to pass alone cost me well over $950.

Now, for the Flaws.

Passenger side Window...the window is rubbing against something inside the door, the interior cover for the door frame isnt on all the way and needs more of those plastic clips for it to snap on right. I would fix it, but I just don't have the time to do it.

Drivers side window, only goes up half way and then gets stuck. I just push it up the rest of the way. I'm sure if you take off the interior cover, you'll discover the problem and it'll be an easy fix, like I said, I would do it, no time to do so.

The compressor for the AC makes a squeal noise, the AC works, but I think the compressor needs replaced, not too much for that to replace.

Oh, and the mirror on the passengers side doesn't move with the power controls, maybe the motor went in it, so i just manually move it to where I need and it seems fine.

Other than those minor problems, the car is in great condition, low miles and a few starter upgrades for someone who is interested in boosting or supercharging, the motor is broken in enough to do so.

I'm asking $5,000. I'd be willing to negotiate the price, but not very far. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. This car has to go as soon as possible so I can pay my first semester for college. I have put a lot of money into this car and I don't intend for it to go for nothing.

This car is worth $5,025 without any of the mods on the car according to Kelly Blue Book. This needs to be sold SOON to pay for college.
