Project is winding down as I'm headed back to Iraq.
Work will resume in a year or two.

In the beginning, there was a basket case...

A clean & detailed 350 engine is a happy engine, but still to be removed and replaced by a 383 Stroker

I bought this car on-line, while surfing the internet from Iraq, with only photos from the dealer to indicate its condition. As expected, when I got home from Iraq, it was in worse shape than it looked in the pix.
My 1st steps are to make it safe, reliable & fun to drive again, then I'll look into a body-off restoration.

Well darn, the frame is shot, so I'm currently doing a body-off restro on it. The whole vehicle was in much worse shape than I was lead to believe. The diff was dry, the floor pans rusted and neglect was rampant.
It will live again! Already, I've spent over $8000 in new parts. Next spring, it will be ready for the road, but for now, it's spread all over my garage.
