this is my 1966 ford econoline supervan shortly after I bought it. Its basically the way i got it. it has a 240 straight 6 engine and a 3 speed man trans. it has a 18 inch extension on the rear but its wheel base is shorter then my honda crx. I was told it has a rebuilt trans, rebuilt head and a new clutch (which wasn't i installed a new one)

please check out and rate my 1967 econoline 8-door supervan at this link http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3818667/1

i painted behind the headlight trim flat black and repainted the bumpers white

put new mirrors (chrome) last night will post new pics soon

meanwhile i drive her daily to and from work in and around Seattle. I get around 25 MPG!!! not bad for a breadbox on wheels! people stop me all the time to talk about the van and try to play guess the year! LOL

this is what i want her to look like when im done

Sorry for the long wait since the last update but i've been busy with work (the four letter word) Well here goes since last time i updated this page i have instaled a new distributer, carb, starter and done a bunch of electrical repairs(40 years of people doing "repairs") I need to install a new harness. But other than that i've been driveing her ALOT!! Since i bought her in march of last year i've put over 30,000 mostly trouble free miles on her.

I"ve ordered a set of new leaf springs with a 3" drop in them from Eaton Detroit Spring in in Detroit Mi USA (313) 963-3839 for $1200 for both axles. also now i can order the pwr ft disk brakes i will have to take off my spindels and send them into Master Power Brakes (888) 351-8781 to get modified for the disks they said it will take 2-3 weeks to get them back

will post new pics after i install new springs

the guy i bought the van from droped by last night (2 years after i bought her from him) and gave me an original ( as best as i can tell )  1966 econo shop manual with all wiring diagrams in it he said he was cleaning out his garageand found it  it will come in real handy for rewireing her.

With out a doubt my all time favorite van model. Its a Ford, and it looks badass as hell. You would not believe how many of these I have seen turned into drag show cars. Pop some wicked wheelies with the right gear and engine set up!

very nice.. I'll be looking out for it on the streets! :D I'm torn on the poll. I love pure stock for a vehicle like this but it's always nice to update certain vitals. it sounds like you've started that route anyway with the drop springs? Whatever you do it will be a rad ride!
