This was my '69 Charger SE. It started life as a 383 4V powered car. A previous owner performed a restoration circa 1989 and did numerous mechanical upgrades.
I purchased it in the early spring of 2001 and the car served me admirably for over six years. It transported me to six Mopar Nationals, several Monster Mopar Weekends, numerous local and regional shows, as well as two Power Tours (including one Long Haul). It endured dyno floggings, and trips down the drag strip.
It evolved quite a bit during it's tenure with me. When I purchased it, it had a 451 stroker motor under the hood backed by a torque flite. I later replaced the 451 with a 471 stroker motor I built myself. Ultimately, I backed it up with a Keisler-sourced Tremec TKO 600.
After completing the Hot Rod Power Tour 2007 Long Haul, I decided it was time to move onto something new. The car was sold to Mr. Angry, and serves as the basis for project Angrier
