The Spirit Mobile
Hey everyone my name is Matt. I am currently driving a 1989 Dodge Shadow ES 2.5L I4. My friends tagged it the "Spirit Mobile". This is because I went to Boyertown Area Senior High or BASH and our school colors were black, red, and white. You'll see why from the pictures. I wish it was a turbo but I can only dream. This is just my means of transportation back and forth from home, work, and school. I bought it and it was already the way it looks now I didn't do any aftermarket upgrades. Since I had to buy the car on my own and I was only 16 at the time this was all I could afford. I love the car it gets me where I need to go, it only let me sit once when it blew a head gasket.
Its been very reliable before and after that. I know a lot you of you guys
are going to hate me because of this import verse domestic argument. It's
a true fact you can get more power out of a domestic for cheaper but imports
will look nicer. Okay anyways I am planning on getting a project car over
the summer. It will hopefully be a 93 Honda Civic Hatchback (My favorite
car) or a 90-91 Honda CRX. My Shadow will be my wheels while I work on the
Honda. I will also post info about that project once I get it. I am
currently a student a Temple U. and money is tight but I love cars.Sound System
I did have a decent sounding stereo system in the car but I sold it to get money to buy another car over the summer. I'll list what I had so you can tell me what you think:
Aiwa Head Unit (Single RCA out, 3 band EQ) It was a present I forget the Model
Sony Explode 4 1/2 in front doors
Cheap 6 1/2 subs in rear deck
2 12" Kicker Comp series
50watt Kicker amp powering the
deck speakers
200watt Jenson Amp powering subs
By the way this system was used to listen to some good music Blink 182, NFG, Goldfinger, 311, Sublime,...

Pictures
Finally, it took a while but I got them. I had just snowed the day before.
