Here is a little history of The Mav. I first saw my Maverick in 1994 in a barn at a farm I was working at in Pa. I was 16 and looking for a car to drive so far nothing caught my eye. As soon as I saw it I wanted it. I ran home and told my dad and you can guess what he said. Thats right "that piece of junk". Like everyone else in the world is thinking right.. Anyways I bought it anyways for 200 dollars then found it was a flinstone mobel. But the drive train, interior, and body pannels were all good.. So I bought another one from the junkyard for the body.. It was a 1975 so I got front disk brakes and 5 lug wheels thank goodness.. It also had power steering but I removed that and power brakes when I put in the 302. SO I took 2 months in 1994 and stripped both cars and took all the good parts and made one 1971 Maverick and on junkyard pile of scrap. Then I spent a little money on some tires and wheels which cost more than I had in the whole car..lol Found Grabber hood at miland swap meet in 1998 and jewed the guy to 45 bucks. He had no idea what it fit on. My lucky day. In 1995 Found a rotting 71 bronco II with 302 for free. New bearings and head intake plugs wires and msd ignition. Then came the 4 speed. Free again. For some hard labor. $200 for a Z bracket and I could finally drive it again. Now ten years later the Body is getting rough from many fun years of driving. I am currently hunting down my old pictures but I didn't take many I was 17 at the time and my dad hated the car.. Thanks' for reading

Great looking car! I've always wanted to modernize a 4-door Mav with a mild body kit.
