This is the Superbee Wagon. A 1968 Coronet Stationwagon. I put this project on hold after breaking the torque converter. I took out the engine and just been storing it. Almost ready to complete it. This car started out as a joke. I dropped in a 440 motorhome engine and used to race it. It had wood on the side and a big luggage rack. I would take it to the street races and offer to race people for fun. Then I would blow their doors off. It had 275/60/15s but with the lowering blocks, you could barely notice. With the hemi mufflers, it was real quiet too. I put in bucket seats and a center console from a 68 charger. Other than that, it is a flawless original, black interior. After a while the secret was out and it was getting hard to find races. Then I decided to paint it black and clone a Superbee. During the bodywork was when it broke down. All that torque and a heavy car. Something had to give. It broke two welds off the converter. Since buying my other Coronet, this one has just been garaged. I will finish it soon. With a FRESH 440 and new upgrades. More to come.
