lesson learned on this one. I was driving on a main two lane road in the right hand lane. A truck pulls out from a side street. He goes in the left hand lane. We are next to each other when he decides to get in my lane. I hit the brakes and the horn and he side swipes me. His bed hits from my front bumper to my drivers door.
He admits fault and shows me his insurance card.
Here are the damage photos. I called him a few days later and he says I hit him. At this point I tell him to call his insurance and I will call mine. Long story short his insurance is expired. If I knew that I would have called the police and watched them tow his truck.
I had an estimate done for $1600 and my insurance will go after him. After some super glue and a buff and wax job it looks great.
Three little dents, one scratch and it needs a new mirror. In the future I will call the police on all accidents no matter what.
