This is my 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback, Ralliart Edition. It's one of only 3000 cars that were imported into the US.
A few years ago I worked on my first Sportback and I really liked it. We installed a Punch 3001 and a capacitor on a JVC deck with 2 12's.
After my Rodeo started leaking coolant I found this online at Legend Motors in Dallas. It's in great shape for a 2004. You can't pass up the low mileage and warranty. 22,300 on a 50,000 mile factory warranty.
Well I looked over the car and when I opened the cargo compartment I found a few screw holes in the floor.
Funny thing is it is in the shape of a Punch 3001. Then I see 4 more screw holes in the shape of a Rockford Fosgate cap. As I open the lower cover I see two unibit holes where I drilled into the plastic to run the wires into the cargo box.
I told the salesman "I'll take it".
That's right it's the exact same car I fell in love with a year ago.
Karma?
Fate?
Destiny?
Who knows but it's mine after all.
Well the car had a few upgrades. They upgraded exhaust, added a AEM cold air intake and a Pioneer Radio. and an AEM
look at that nasty gap all around the radio. Someone should find that installer and pimp slap him.
I pulled the Pioneer radio and installed an Infinity system until Infinity pissed me off. Now I am rebuilding with Ultra Subs speakers and anplifiers. Unltra is a company that stands behind their product unlike Infinity.
