My dad bought the car in the early 80's from a friend. He painted over the original yellow paintjob and replaced the 3-speed automatic with a pistol grip 4-speed manual.

thanks foe the comments, cuda look great, keep that baby original. my stellar looked exactly like your does. its been in the family since new too. i ended up with the hunger for power so now its in the middle of a 4G63T swap. got to modify a few things but it well under way

Thanks for the kind words. I still need to get mine completely restored, but that's on the to-do list. Is your car originally gold? If so, you should keep it that way. Everyone has a purple, yellow, or lime green 'cuda. Most people don't have the stones to repaint a factory earth tone. Looks like your car is solid and restoration should be easy. Do you have brown interior too? Anyway, keep up the good work and keep the 383 torch lit! Later.

476 14:1 roller motor. The paint will be like yours shortly, with black Yenko stripes. It ain't gotta radio!
