Motor blew, Lost oil pressure and spun the number 2 rod bearing. Its going to sit thru the winter.

Project is back in action as i just got the motor for it. i'll be installing this weekend just waiting on a few key parts.

10/15/08

The motor was installed w/ success. I drove it for about 2 months before it was effected with numerous oil leaks.  After fixing the oil leaking I was having oil pressure problems and there was coolant and oil mix. So I replaced the headgasket, I had spare seal kits and head bolts so i just went for it.

The car is not starting. I think I popped the coil. So i'll be replacing that. Resealing the oil pan and replacing the oil pressure sender for the Prosport Gauge. Also body is being sanded so the car can be painted matte black.

I have concluded the "New" motor is toast already. Water coming out of the oil, Cooling system doesn't hold pressure. Its been sitting for almost a year now. It stays covered most of the time. I wash it often. 90% of the body work is finished. But i have begun the painting process which i am really exciting about. Its going to be two colors of black. Engine bay, Inside trunk, Inside frunk, door jams are all going to be Vivid Black (Dark). All the body panels, Fenders, Hood, quarters, bumpers are going to be Matte Black with Satin Gloss. I'm painting it in sections. So i'll take pictures of each.
