barrym's 1990 Mazda Miata

This picture is what Im working to achieve. Ive drawn a Zoom Lotus Elan front end on the car and tried to draw a Simpson Design hood. I have an Aizawa headlight intake coming and I hope to get either some 15" Lenso wheels or 15" 5Zigen wheels.

Ive drawn them on the pictue to get an idea what they would look like. I have a Canvas black top  and some Moss dual headlights coming which should make it look better.

Like in the Cadillac commercial, when I turn this car on, it returns the favor. Its called the grin machine.

This is how the Zoom Lotus nose comes.

The cars below are my current inspiration. The top picture is the Zoom Lotus Elan nose. Love the curves on that sucker.

The next photo down is a  S2racing Democar What a stance.  I modified the front end a little. The tailights on this car are fantastic.

The green one I think is a great looking car. Love those Lenso wheels.

Now it is a fairly stock Silverstone Silver with black convertible top and interior but

When I saw this picture of the "Phat Miata" front end I had to have those KG Works intake/signal. Thanks

I have the Simpson flat bumper like the one below but I havent put it on yet.

Im trying to work out something different for the tailights. Miata has a huge red  tailight and the only thing that actually shines is a little dogbone pattern in the middle. I want some TAILIGHTS. I want to hook them up so they blink sequentially from inside to outside and when you step on the brake they all come on. I would use the sequential Mustang blinker kit. for this.

I enjoy the interior so much I try to find more things to do to it.

I saw this console from IL Motorsport and had to have it. I love it. I recomend it to everybody.

The interior picture below is the working idea Im using now but it changes all the time. Im playing with color contrasts in this picture. I dont know what I will end up with. Im thinking of making the seats sort of a reddish Football brown with a darker brown door panel and floor mats over the stock black carpet. I dont like the stock tan.

I would appreciate any suggestions on color. Please.

The engine is stock but it is so much fun. It feels fast if there are no other cars around. You can feel like your racing hard but still not be breaking the speed limit,   much.
.
This car is great fun! I cant imagine what the full race Miata's feel like.

Im sure Ill get under the hood and do something to give it more power.

I will update as I get more done.

Thanks for looking.
