Nice 2-door Vic. Looks to be in perfect condition.

Hay man, sweet Vic! It looks to be in awesome shape! I'll be doing the T5 swap in the next few weeks actually. I've started to put my 86 Vic on the track, and the AOD just couldn't handle 30 minutes sessions of abuse as it kept overheating, and it really sucks not being able to stay in the gear of my choice.

The stock will fit the T5 only if the T5 comes from a pre-1993 Mustang. My T5 came from a 1994/1995 5.0 Mustang so required the driveshaft to be shortened. Any older T5 will fit. If you have the 5.0L, everything will fit. If you have the 5.8L, you'll need a new flywheel. The most difficult part of the job is to fit the pedals. Come join crownvic.net and see in the 5.0/5.8L forum how they do... 3+ members modified their Vic with a T5.
