Now before you go looking at my car and saying that is a nice canopy have a look again.
first we removed the tray from the ute and removed the excess from the rear wall to make way for the re-inforcment of the floor and roof. trhis had to be done to strenghten where the fibreglass would be mated to the roof and to make sure that in a rollover the roof would not simply crush.
here you can see the fibreglass replacement i made, i made it using moulds from the original tray (styleside) and added a roof line and also made a rear door from a el- ef wheelchair taxi rear door. it fits like the holden version canopy but also incorporates the whole rear of the ute with reinforced flooring and sides.
i will be later putting windows in as well
now here is the finished product.
one BF falcon Panelvan.
the fibreglas is firstly sikaflexed on then i run fome fibreglass from the original metal to the fibreglass rear to make it all look like one peice. the car was then repainted so it all matched.
all that is left to do is to tart it up a little.
i went to the local sticker maker and got some brilliant vinyl graphics made in contrasting blue with silver outlines.
and here it is all done. new wheels make it look great with the graphics.
the rear was also fitted out with the obligatory mattress and associated items. this shot also shows that there is no back wall like a true panelvan

Nice work man. Looks a little strange above the doors, roof couldve been a little lower, but otherwise it looks cool!
