1958 Edsel Pacer
2 door - hardtop
original engine was the E-300. It now has a 472 Cadillac (and a TH400 tranny). I'm in the market for a new 472 or 500 since I blew the one in there a few months ago. I was just getting ready to paint - just re-primered it.

I like your edsel. I am thinking with a Hot Rod Flatz blue on the body and some kind of off-white for the top on My 59. I got a 351C and a C6 trans in mine. Do you get as many, "you own a what?"s as I do.

That is looking great! I'm surprised we don't see many more slammed Eds. I will forever believe the Edsel was too far ahead of its time. I'm in the midst of acquiring a '58 Edsel Corsair of my own for restoration. I think I can find a place for it along with my '64 Galaxie. Please check my Galaxie out sometime!
