I was a little bit leery about getting an ML given the problems the W163 (1997-2005 ML) were known to have. I picked up this SUV for my wife after reading the positive reviews that the W164 (2006-up) received.
Our ML350 came well optioned from the factory:
-3.5L V6 with 268 hp (plenty of power for getting the groceries)
-Premium package with electric seats, glass moonroof, etc.
-Power lift gate (great when your hands are full)
-Factory navigation
-Wood steering wheel
As usual, I promptly added the following goodies:
-20" shadow chrome CLS-style wheels
-H&R Lowering springs
-Silver ML500 grill with chrome strips
Since this is my wife's ride, I'm pretty much done with the mods.
